ISEL (Illiois Snapshot of Early Literacy)

The Illinois Snapshot of Early Literacy (ISEL) is a quick, accurate assessment of literacy development for children in kindergarten and grades 1 and 2. ISEL is administered to individual students using measures, grounded in research, that have been found to be reliable and valid indicators of early literacy development.
